INFERIORITY OF THE CAUCASOID PEOPLE, (WHITE PEOPLE).

Caucasoids in general have an inferiority complex in the world position. If they were secure with their alleged superiority, they would not have to shout it out loud to the world so often and so loudly. When a people fell called upon to repeatedly announce their superiority to the world, it is suspected that behind all their pretence they do not believe it as much as they want people to believe they do. In contrast, if the same people believe in the inferiority of the rest of the world, its people and its cultures, they would not have to spend so much time trying to prove their point. When we look at the chronology of world history we discover that the first real show of European literacy intelligence surfaced around 1250 B.C. with the publication of the two books of folklore, the odyssey and the Iliad, credited to an author named Homer, who we have little information about. At this point let me introduce to you the position of the caucsoids in the field of Philosophy. To begin with, Philosophy is not a European word! Whence the two books of folklore credited to Homer were definitely not authored by him since the little we know about him is that he was a Greek. More about how the Greek philosophy was borrowed from the Africans from what is today called Egypt, either directly or indirectly in a somewhat detailed manner can be found in George G. M. James’ book, “The Stolen Legacy”.

A History of The New Modern World by R. R. Palmer and Joel Colton tells us that “Europeans were by no means the pioneers of human civilization”. Half of man’s recorded history had passed before anyone in Europe could read or write. The priests of Egypt began to keep written records between 4000 and 3000 B.C. but more than 2000 years later, the poems of Homer were still being circulated in Greek city states by word of mouth. Shortly after 3000 B.C. while the Pharaohs were building the first pyramids, Europeans were creating nothing more than huge garbage heaps until after 2000 B.C., Europe was still under a Neolithic or New Stone age. This was in truth a great age in man’s history, the age in which man learned to make and use sharp tools, weave cloth, build living quarters, domesticate animals, plant seeds, harvest crops, and sense the returning cycles of months and years. The Near East -- Egypt, the Euphrates and the Tigris valley, the Island of Crete and the shores of the Aegean Sea (which belonged more to Asia than to Europe) – had reached and passed the Neolithic 2000 years before Europe.

Europeans finally got themselves together and created the semblance of what could today be referred to as a state or a nation – they made a glaring discovery. Europe could not furnish them with enough food to properly feed them or enough material to properly cloth them. They began to look at the more developed part of the world. Soon they would find a rationale for their initial military aggression under the young Macedonian Greek known as Alexander the great. He would invade North Africa in the year 332 B.C. following the invasions from Western Asia by Assyrians in 666 B.C. The invasions left the Africans crying out to God to send them a liberator or a conqueror with some mercy. As a conqueror, he did what the conquerors do. He raided the granaries of Egypt to feed his soldiers and his armies continued the bastardisation of Egypt that started with the western Asian invasion of 1675 B.C. whose forced co-habitation with the women changed the population and the cultural temperature of the declining Nile Valley civilization.

The military rise of Rome and the fall of the Greek military under Alexander had the Romans control of the Carthaginian trade with no intention of sharing it with the Carthaginians who had built it. The conquest of a large area of North Africa together with the death of Hannibal at the end of the Punic wars would install the Romans as the dominant power in the Mediterranean for the next 500 years.

The racism that is plaguing us today has its origin in the second rise of Europe in the 15^th and 16^th centuries. During this period the Europeans refer to as the dark or middle ages. Europeans had lost their previous skills in Sea faring and the concept of the Longitude and the Latitude had been lost from their memory. They came out of this period land poor, people poor and resource poor. The Europeans established slave trade and used it to begin their Economic recovery. After the crusades and famines and plagues that arrested the attention of Europe for over 300 years, Europe’s self concept was damaged. Since 711 A.D., the year of Africa Arab conquest of Spain, Europe had been held at bay by what they referred to as hated infidels. African and Arab armies in North Africa and the Mediterranean area and the continued rise of Islam, Europe began to break out of this bind in the 1400s with the port assault on the Port of Creta, in Morocco, in 1415 and again in 1455 when in settling an argument between Portugal and Spain, the Pope authorized Portugal and Spain to reduce to servitude all the infidel people. This was the official rationale of the Atlantic slave trade. During this period, Europeans not only began to colonize most of the world, they also colonized information about the world. They colonized all complementary images that non European people held of themselves. The most effective of all these colonized images is the colonization of the image of God through missionaries. They began to propagate a concept of God that favored them over other people.

Many societies that the European pretended to civilize would have been better off had the Europeans left them alone. In Africa, the pacific Islands and in a large area of Mainland Asia, people had built safe and spiritually endowed societies before the Europeans wore a shoe or lived in a house that has a window. In large areas of Africa, a cluster of their civilizations were built without an organized jail system. Racism with its accompanying fear and frustration was the cohesive force that held the plantation system together. The physical resistance against European dominance and the need and the greed that influenced their altitude and personality started in a formal way early in the 18^th century in Africa and there were anti-colonial revolts. The Africans were fighting to regain what slavery and colonialism had taken away. In the Caribbean Islands and in South America, the Africans on a different geography and under different circumstances were fighting for basically the same thing. The people of Asia had been reacting against the occupation and domination almost from the beginning of the European presence in their country. They had a different land mass, dealing with a different political situation but were always and still are fighting against the same thing.

“The problem of the twentieth century is the color line”, says W. E. Dubois. In spite of all the talk and the sociology – good and bad – we have not done much progress in resolving this issue.  We have talked about it extensively without dealing with it. To deal with it we will have to ask ourselves some hard questions and we will have to be boldly hones with our answers. (How did racism start in the first place and for whose benefit was it created? Why do we lack the strength and courage to destroy it)?

The idea of race was developed as a direct response to the exploitation of other peoples, to provide both a pretext and a justification for the most unjustifiable conduct, the enslavement, murder and degradation of millions of human beings. European interests in the formalizing the concept of race dates back to the early part of the 18^th century. The development of the idea of race can be traced with some justification back to the scholastic naturalization of Aristotle’s doctrine of predictable genus, species, and different property and accident. In the year 1475, the council of cardinals met in Holland and sanctioned a righteous and progressive idea, the enslavement of the Africans for the purpose of their conversion to Christianity and to be exploited in the labor market as chattel property. The concept of race had another development during the early days of the enlightment age when in 1735 Swedish botanist Linnaeus took over took over the concept of class, species and genus from the theologians to serve them as systematic tools. The devilish scheme speedily became a standard policy of the church for three centuries and thus the ghastly traffic if human beings was given the cloak of respectability and anointed with the oil of pomifical righteousness in the name of Jesus.

The Christian church was the hand maiden for the development of racism. While it propagated the theory that all men were equal in the sight of God; in practice it found all sorts of arguments to prove that non European people especially black men, were inferior and could not be considered as men in the general sense. A search for ways to justify European domination led biologists to the works of Linnaeus and Buffon. Thus the classification of races began. In deciding distinctions between higher and lower races, the Europeans became the hierarchy of the races. In many ways this was a continuation of the rationale set up to justify slave trade. The African slave trade like African history in general – is often written about but rarely understood.
